La revista especializada\u00a0Colorectal Disease<\/em>\u00a0ha publicado recientemente nuevos resultados del estudio multic\u00e9ntrico internacional sobre cirug\u00eda y covid-19, el llamado\u00a0CovidSurg, en el cual participa el Dr. Pablo\u00a0Collera, miembro del\u00a0Gastrointestinal Oncology, Endoscopy and Surgery research group\u00a0(GOES) y jefe de servicio de Cirug\u00eda general de\u00a0Althaia, entre otros profesionales del servicio. La investigaci\u00f3n, que ha incluido 5.453 pacientes de 304 hospitales de 47 pa\u00edses, ha permitido constatar que la demora quir\u00fargica del c\u00e1ncer de colon a consecuencia de la pandemia no ha comprometido el procedimiento ni el \u00edndice de supervivencia del paciente.
