Dr. Suárez is a specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology and currently serves as Coordinator of the Breast Pathology Unit at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu de Manresa. She obtained her medical degree from the University of Barcelona and completed her residency training at Hospital Universitari Vall d’Hebron, where she also undertook a dedicated training period in the Breast Pathology Unit.
She further specialized with a Master’s degree in Senology from the University of Barcelona and obtained her PhD in 2025 with a thesis focused on breast cancer surgery. Since 2017, she has been working at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu de Manresa, primarily dedicated to the diagnosis and treatment of breast diseases.
Her clinical and research activity focuses on breast cancer, particularly in the surgical approach and comprehensive patient management. She has contributed to national and international conferences and scientific publications in this field.
In her free time, Mireia enjoys indoor and outdoor sports, as well as spending time with family and friends.
